Collection Arkane specializes in Canadian minerals, notably those from the Poudrette Quarry in Quebec, Canada. The Arkane Collection offer also includes numerous minerals from international localities. You will discover specimens from Paul Lortie's personal collections, other recently purchased private collections and new inventories of quality minerals that we find for our devoted customers.

Important comments

1. Collection Arkane presents each of its specimens with an information label including the price in Canadian dollars (yellow dot), the availability of detailed images and a description (red dot) and/or a video (blue dot) . For now, images/descriptions and/or videos are only available upon request by email or Zoom session. In a future version of the Lofa platform, these images and videos will be accessible directly by visitors without intervention from a Collection Arkane representative.

2. In general, if you wish to communicate with a representative in a Zoom session, it is best to send us a prior request by email indicating your availability/preferences within the following five (5) days.  Please note that the platform's zoom and chat functions are not currently enabled.

3. Return and refund policy: Any specimen purchased on this site, which does not meet your quality criteria, can be returned to us within thirty (30) days following your purchase, in the original packaging. The specimen will be refunded upon receipt as long as it is received in the same original condition. Unless otherwise noted, please note that all purchases will generally be shipped within five (5) business days of ordering.

4. Given the nature of the system, priority for purchasing a specimen will be given to the first visitor who has added this specimen to a cart and this cart has been sent to Collection Arkane (each transaction is dated including the local time).  A selected specimen does not mean it has been sold, thus it can be selected again.

The new technological platform Lofa is now being used by Collection Arkane to create and manage its new site from May 2025. The Lofa platform reproduces the concept of a trade show or trade fair by presenting numerous specimens in the same image and tools allowing to select any specimen in one of these images in order to add it to a shopping cart. This platform can be used simultaneously by several hundred merchants and thousands of visitors.
